Within several miles are thrilling cavern adventures of the abandoned El Dorado gold mines, awe-inspiring hikes with swimming holes for summer time, flowing mountain river streams with world-class white water rafting, and lakes surrounded by sprawling hills of lupins and poppies in spring. Also within driving distance is the renowned Calaveras Big Trees State Park with some of the world's largest (as the name insists) and oldest trees, winter time snowboarding and skiing, wine tasting and live music in the vibrant acclaimed town of Murphy’s and so much more!

What to expect on the property

Come experience the refreshing beauty of nature amidst the foothills of the Sierras in this family friendly, permaculture community. Our common areas around the property include an outdoor pool (a must in summer), tree swings, picturesque eating and lounge spots, farm spaces such as the alpaca pen, sheep enclosure, hen house and our developing food forest. If desired, we provide immersive lessons in sustainable agriculture design and application and the opportunity to get up close and personal with our laying hens and sweet alpacas.

Our Amazing Glamp Sites

There are currently four sites available to rent out on our property: a comfortably sized geodesic dome, a Bohemian style Lotus Bell tent, a romantic cabin space with mountain view from the bed and an adorable Aristocrat camper; all of which include their own restroom with hot showers and an outdoor cooking facility.
